Our Story: A Vision Realized
The Cadet Program was founded in 2016, inspired by the vision of former General Manager Tony Plunkett and brought to life through the unwavering support of the Erdman family. What began as a bold idea has, nearly a decade later, grown into one of the leading practical, agriculture-based cadet programs in the country.
Our cadets benefit from a structured blend of hands-on farm experience and regular classroom sessions. These sessions, led by our dedicated Training Manager, provide essential academic support as cadets progress through their Land-Based Training qualifications.
Beyond academics, these classroom days offer a valuable opportunity to monitor each cadet’s development—on the farm, in their studies, and in overall wellbeing. We are committed to delivering tailored support and ongoing training to ensure every cadet thrives both personally and professionally.
