Coleridge Downs is an intensive dryland breeding and finishing farm, nestled between the stunning Lake Coleridge and the mighty Rakaia River. It was the first New Zealand property acquired by the Erdman family, over 30 years ago, marking the beginning of their long-term commitment to the agricultural industry in this country.
Coleridge Downs is an adaptable farming operation, primarily focused on producing high-quality store stock for finishing under irrigation at Big Ben. The farm also plays a key role in raising young capital stock to support the wider business, and with the ability to finish large numbers of lambs when seasons allow, it is well-equipped to respond to changing demands. The property is also home to a thriving deer herd, adding diversity and strength to the overall farming business.
